Happy Friday everyone! Welcome back to Circles In Space, where each Friday I share five interesting things. This week’s topics:
I've been reading Gillian Flynn's thriller Gone Girl and enjoying it so much that I wish I hadn't already seen David Fincher's film adaptation. Fortunately, I haven't watched the movie since it's 2014 release but I still remember the general plot. Isn’t the book always better than the movie because we can picture the character, setting and plot ourselves? Note to self: Always read the book first!
Disregarding the above advice, I went to see Bullet train, David Leitch's adaptation of Kotaro Isaka's 2010 novel Maria Beetle. The film is an entertaining action-packed thriller starring Brad Pitt as "Ladybug", one of several assassins dueling it out on a Japanese bullet train. I enjoyed the film's kung-fu nods though it felt more like John Wick at times, another Leitch production.
Check out NASA’s photos of Jupiter captured by the new James Webb telescope. These images combine three filters to create a composite image showcasing Jupiter’s auroras, rings and of course, the Great Red Spot.
I can't get enough of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard's 2022 Bonnaroo Set. As a result, I've been digging through their expansive discography including recent release Omnium Gatherum. Best rock band on Planet Gizz!
Michael Heizer has been building City in northern Nevada for 50 years. A monumental artwork which draws inspiration from ancient Egypt to the Hoover Dam, City is over a mile long and a quarter of a mile wide. Heizer started building in 1972 and is still building at age 77. City will be accessible to visitors soon.

That's all for this week! As always, thanks for reading and have a great weekend!
Until next time,
